Today is the day: The new Coffee-Bike website is online. Around one year of conception, the in-house design and the technical implementation went into the modern corporate identity. From now on, the internationally successful franchise system from Osnabrück and provider of mobile coffee catering presents itself in a modern design that technically and visually meets the needs of tomorrow's users. The main task in the implementation of this project of the digitalisation strategy, to pick up several target groups in equal measure and to bring them to their destination in the shortest possible way, will be solved in the future by a simplified navigation, new subject areas as well as the optimised presentation on all end devices.
Digital experience gastronomy — Coffee-Bike focuses on emotions and authenticity
The mobile coffee bar - the Coffee-Bike - has been the centrepiece of the franchise and coffee catering concept for more than a decade. The product and also the coffee specialities on offer convince catering customers, frahling lovers and new entrepreneurs with all their senses. All the greater was the appeal in the design of the new website to authentically convey this experience and the quality for which the bike stands in use on a digital platform. "Compared to the previous website, we have invested significantly in professional image and video material to convey our Coffee-Bike moments online as well. We also approached customers, franchise partners and employees who share their experiences with our site visitors on various subpages," explains Mark Rüter, Managing Director of Coffee-Bike GmbH.
Information content connects different target groups
The flexibility offered by the Coffee-Bike as a rolling café is the unique selling point of the business concept. At the same time, this was also the biggest challenge during the revision of the website, which is not only used by prospective franchisees to communicate with the brand. Corporate and private customers prefer to book the mobile coffee catering online, while coffee-bike fans want to find the nearest bike nearby or order their favourite beans to their home. "With the new site, we also want to present ourselves as an attractive employer in the Osnabrück region. Behind Coffee-Bike is a great team with many innovative ideas and that's how we would like to present ourselves," Mark Rüter elaborates. New content pages about the company, the topic of sustainability or the acquisition of sales locations contribute to a clear customer journey, as do download options for various brochures and the integration of application examples in text and image form.
Technical optimisation in the sense of the mobile age
In the company's philosophy, "feeling for the needs of tomorrow" is defined as part of the Coffee-Bike mission. In line with this principle, the company is focusing on the mobile users of the new website. "The information needs of our catering customers and those interested in franchises are increasingly being met digitally. Even though the "mobile-first" approach is now standard practice, we realised that we were not yet exploiting great potential with the previous website. Therefore, we took a lot of time to analyse our main target groups," says Marketing Manager Carla Verlage. In the past, the company has already proven its pioneering role in the mobile coffee catering industry not only with the self-sufficient operation of the coffee bikes but also with an online event planner for creating offers in real time.
