Sweet, nutty and wintry – the almond as a culinary companion
Whether from the Orient or Lübeck – it’s hard to imagine the winter season without marzipan and its main ingredient, the almond. We snack on marzipan potatoes under the Christmas tree, decorate gingerbread with almond flakes and now combine the sweet taste with the best coffee in our new Winter Specials.
Coffee-Bikers fulfil winter dreams
Already in the Advent calendar, fine marzipan and sweet chocolate are among the most popular contents of the 24 little doors. The Marzipan Choc Latte combines the best of both worlds. In this hot drink, delicious amaretto syrup meets fluffy milk foam and aromatic espresso. Visually, a chocolate bonnet makes it an eye-catcher at any Christmas party.
They should not be missing from any biscuit plate. We are talking about the classic vanilla crescents, which inspired us for the second Winter Special. Delicate vanilla syrup and nutty almond syrup together with smooth milk foam and strong espresso remind us of the good old days in grandma’s bakery. The Vanilla Winter Dream gets a cinnamon topping that reminds you of the pre-Christmas glow.
