Are you the right sort for your own Coffee-Bike?
Is a Coffee-Bike the right choice for me? After all, not everyone who enjoys drinking coffee wants to run their own coffee business. You don’t need to be a perfect entrepreneur to get started with a Coffee-Bike. What’s far more important is a willingness to take on responsibility, to approach people with an open mind, and to enjoy building your own little café. If you’re keen on self-employment, flexibility and direct customer contact, you already meet many of the requirements for running a mobile coffee bar and thus have a solid foundation for successfully launching a mobile café.
Qualities that will help you get started
A few personal qualities can make getting started particularly easy. These include reliability, initiative and a love of working with people. Organisational skills and the motivation to learn new things are also helpful – after all, you’ll be managing your own location, products and daily operations. Of course, a basic understanding of customer acquisition and the financial aspects of your business is an advantage, but here you can rely on support from the franchise head office. Above all, however, passion plays a major role: anyone who enjoys making good coffee and offering customers a positive taste experience naturally creates a welcoming atmosphere for guests that convinces them to come back.
Typical life situations where a Coffee-Bike might be a good fit
The desire to own a Coffee-Bike often arises during certain stages of life. Some people want to break free from the traditional office routine and pursue a new career path. Others are looking for a more self-determined way of working or want to build something of their own following a change in their lives. For people who want to turn their passion for coffee into a business, a mobile café can also be an attractive way to combine entrepreneurship with flexibility. It doesn’t matter whether you want to run the Coffee-Bike full-time or start it as a side business.
Why experience is important – but not everything
Of course, experience in the catering or retail sector can be helpful. However, it is not an absolute prerequisite for running a mobile coffee bar. What matters more is a willingness to actively engage with your own business. You’ll also learn a great deal during the four-day training course at our Coffee-Bike Academy, to which you’ll be invited to Osnabrück as a new starter. From marketing and customer acquisition to recipe training – we want to make your start as a new Coffee-Biker as smooth as possible.
